Stay organized, and more importantly, calm during this busy time of the year with these tried and true tips.
The most magical time of the year comes with party invitations and oh so many “to do” lists. Stay organized, and more importantly, calm during this busy time of the year with these tried and true tips:
- Make a list and prioritize what you need to and want to do. We all have obligations that have to be met. But don’t forget to also schedule activities and traditions that make this time of year special.
- Know when to say “no.” Say “yes” to invitations that will bring you joy, but don’t get bogged down in feeling like you have to attend everything you’re invited to. Slow down and savor the season.
- Keep a family calendar, as your individual family members will no doubt be running in several different directions. Make family time a priority and have a calendar in a visible location so everyone knows what’s going on in advance.
- Keep hostess gifts on hand. While we don’t advocate extra clutter in the home, we do love being prepared. Baking extra treats to store in the freezer or stocking up on your favorite wine when it’s on sale are great ways to ensure you’ll have a token of appreciation at the ready
