To celebrate the City of Edina’s 125th anniversary, the Edina Art Center and the Edina Historical Society will host “EdinaScapes,” June 27–July 31. This one-of-a-kind show will feature local artists’ work in various mediums that tell the Edina experience, including the town’s landscapes, cityscapes, parks and landmarks. On August 8, the show will move to the Edina Historical Society where it will remain until the end of the year.“I’m sure we’ll get some really exciting pieces,” says Michael Frey, art center general manager and director.Winners will be announced at the exhibit’s opening reception at the Edina Art Center’s Margaret Foss Gallery on June 27., with prizes and images of their pieces posted on the art center website.
