Sometimes, one has to mix a bit of business and pleasure. As photographer Cacky Wyatt Bell was snapping pictures of kayakers along Minnehaha Creek last summer, she spotted her neighbor Patricia who, it turns out, was taking a business call as she relaxed in the park. “With modern technology,” Wyatt Bell says, “you can do business from anywhere!” That’s what inspired her to enter this pic, titled “Taking a Business Call,” under the Doing Business category, where it took home top honors. Congrats to Wyatt Bell, who, inspired by the landscape photos she shot for this contest, participated in a photography conference in Tuscany, Italy, this past spring.
