St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and there will no doubt be plenty to do. With that in mind, we’ve assembled a few ideas for festivities and celebrations in the area to help you make most of the holiday.
Corda Mór Performances
Edina’s very own Irish dancers will do nearly 30 performances around the Twin Cities throughout March to celebrate the holiday. On March 17, they will be at the IDS Center in Minneapolis at noon and then at the St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the Landmark Center in St. Paul.
This St. Louis Park pub is another of Kieran Folliard’s (owner of Kieran’s) pubs and restaurants, so you know it has to be really Irish. Cooper will host a line-up of bands and music throughout the day and well into the night—open dance floor included. And no worries, plenty of bangers and mash will be available and plenty of beer will be flowing. 1607 Park Place Blvd., St. Louis Park; 952.698.2000
This seafood restaurant’s name sounds Irish enough, and it will definitely be on St. Patrick’s Day. They will start off serving Irish breakfast in the morning and go well into the night serving corn beef specials and Irish stew. If you need a wake-up with a little extra zing, the Irish coffee will keep you celebrating all day long. 3203 Galleria; 952.920.1142
