Robert Grace, owner and operator of Be Graceful Bakery & Catering, started his small business in 2013 after working for five years at Kraft Foods as a sales manager. He began by catering box lunches for the Minnesota Department of Education. “The Minnesota Department of Education doesn’t have a kitchen,” Grace says. “So whenever teachers have meetings, I serve the food there.” Grace also caters to other organizations, like the Blake School of Excellence and area athletic teams. Be Graceful Bakery & Catering has recently expanded its business to the new U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

This is not the first time Be Graceful has served stadium food. Be Graceful has been selling sandwiches in section 115 at TCF Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Golden Gophers, since October 2015. When asked about how Be Graceful was selected to be in the new U.S. Bank Stadium, Grace says, “Aramark [a facilities food provider] selected me through my relationship with TCF.” Be Graceful’s menu at TCF Bank Stadium is uniquely delicious, with sandwiches like the Elvis Presley, a California club and a panini sandwich.

You can now also find Be Graceful Bakery & Catering at a kiosk in section 328 of the new U.S. Bank Stadium, in an area called “the stack.” Thus, its new sandwich is called a Stackwich. The Stackwich is a roasted turkey sandwich on cranberry wild rice bread with a maple-bacon jam, and is served with a pickle on the side. Be sure to look for Be Graceful Bakery & Catering the next time you attend an event at U.S. Bank Stadium.
