Whether you’re a cynical film junkie that’s sick of the dumbed-down, money-hungry flicks released by major film studios, or you’re just looking for a form of unique and simple entertainment to fill an autumn evening, the first-ever Edina Film Festival has just the lineup to pique your interest.
The Edina Art Center will present the three-night festival from Oct. 20-22 at the historic Edina Cinema (50th and France), which will show a lineup of nine films, including current indie features, Sundance-and Telluride-screened shorts, acclaimed documentaries and even an Orson Welles classic.
The ticket price for each session is $10. An all-festival pass is $30. All proceeds from tickets sales will go to help fund the Edina Art Center.

7 p.m. - Of Dolls & Murder and Forever's Gonna Start Tonight and Manhattan Melody
9 p.m. - Valley of the Sun
