Westin Edina Galleria Gives Away Cupcakes for a Cause

Stop by the Westin tomorrow morning for a free, compassionate cupcake.

Too many cupcakes can be bad for your body but nourishing for your soul; in Edina, too many cupcakes means money to help disabled adults and children in the Twin Cities. On Wednesday, Aug. 21, The Westin Edina Galleria is partnering with Fraser, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting people with disabilities, to raise money and awareness through that most delicious of treats: the cupcake. Each person who stops by The Westin Edina Galleria from 6—9 a.m. on Wednesday will receive a free cupcake courtesy of A Cupcake Social. For each cupcake given away, The Westin will donate $1 to Fraser. “The Twin Cities have embraced The Westin Edina Galleria for the past five years and this is our chance to give back,” says general manager Marc Faubert. The bakers at A Cupcake Social have created custom cupcakes for the occasion. The Westin-inspired treats will showcase healthy ingredients and local charm.
