To mark Genocide Awareness Month, Edina hosts a series of programs about human rights. The second part of the series features Dr. Ellen Kennedy, executive director of World Without Genocide and an Edina resident. Kennedy will discuss the Rwandan genocide on its 20th anniversary and speak on the current situation in Congo. On a local front, there will also be a discussion about what is being done in Minnesota to decrease street violence.
