The Polar Plunge will take place in Minnesota in late winter and early spring. These events, which raise money for the Special Olympics, are a great way to have fun while helping a great cause. Edina native Shannon LoPresti says, “I decided to get involved with the Polar Plunge because my brother has Down syndrome, so I wanted to support him and his team for Special Olympics Minnesota. It’s a really fun way to raise money and awareness for people with special needs.”
