March brings us some fun wine tasting events to help expand our palettes and a beer tasting to help us discover some new brews.
Beaujo’s Wine Bar & Bistro has a lovely tasting scheduled March 11 that will surely make Sunday a fun day. For $40, tasters get two hours to sit, sip and snack with five different wine pairings starting at 2 p.m. Already famous for its wide range of wines and tasty food, this is definitely an event you won’t want to miss.
France 44 will also offer its usual wine and beer tastings. Wine tastings are free, and take place on Fridays from 4-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 1-6 p.m. Of course, this is also a cheese shop, so there will surely be an assortment of cheese suggestions to pair with your wine for maximum enjoyment.
But it’s not all about the grapes. If you’re more for ales, stouts and lagers–France 44 offers beer tastings on Fridays from 4-6:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 3-6 p.m. Like the wine selection, there are quite a few brews to choose from and many are unique to France 44. So grab a friend and schedule some time together to sip and share.
