Looking for a family friendly way to celebrate the start of 2012? The perfect party awaits at Edina’s Edinborough Park—no new year’s resolutions required.
The celebration will offer an evening filled with games and playtime aplenty in the Adventure Peak. KidsDance will also be hand to get the soiree started with music, dancing and contests. Edinborough Park manager Ann Kattreh says that the New Year’s Eve event is particularly multi-generational: “Parents are as actively involved in the events (especially the dancing) as the kids.”
A countdown for the little ones (who probably won’t make it up till midnight) will be at 8 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for sale. Purchase tickets in advance from the Edinborough Park Office. Cost is $6 per child; adults are free with a paying child. –Mary McGuire
