Support ovarian cancer research at the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance’s signature event, the HOM Teal Strides for Ovarian Cancer 5K, 2K and Kid's Fun Run!
Previously known as the Silent No More Walk/Run, this inspiring event will continue to make strides against this disease for the 15th year in a row. Each year, thousands turn up at Rosland Park in Edina to raise funds for
ovarian cancer research, raise awareness and education of the disease,
and give support and hope to women and their families touched by ovarian
cancer. Last year 3,400 participants on more than 100 teams raised $287,000 for research and programs.
This event includes a 5K run or 2K walk around Edina’s Lake Cornelia, a Kids’ Fun Run, an engaging program, an annual group survivor photo, and more. This year, there will also be a new costume contest, so be sure to come in your best costume or the most teal for a chance to win MOCA Store Credits! If you can’t join the event, donate to a team or register as a Teal Strides Sleepwalker!
Register, form a team and fundraise to make a difference with the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance as they make Teal Strides against ovarian cancer!
the past 14 years, the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance’s signature
event has been our Silent No More Walk/Run held each September. Now, as
we celebrate the 15th year of this inspirational event, we’re officially
breaking the silence on this disease with an updated event name!
We’re excited to announce the new name of our annual walk/run: HOM Teal
Strides for Ovarian Cancer. We are truly silent no more – as we’re
making strides against this disease for the 15th year in a row. The name
may be new, but the wonderful event you’ve come to expect remains the
same. And we’re thrilled that HOM Furniture will once again return as
our title sponsor.

and $287,000 raised for research and programs! But we have so much more
to accomplish, which is why we’ve got a goal to make this year’s event
our most successful to date!
