Senior adults are more at risk of identity theft than any other age group, according to the National Crime Prevention Council. Learn how to safeguard yourself and your finances during "Are You Being Fleeced?"-- an educational workshop hosted by Covenant Village of Golden Valley, a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities. The workshop is scheduled for Friday, March 20th at 1:00p.m.

Kevin E. Lawson is a certified financial planner with Covenant Trust Company, Golden Valley, Minn. He will highlight common scams used to target senior adults, and then offer tips to help reduce the possibilty of being targeted.
