Calling all aspiring photogs, professional shutterbugs and picture-snapping hobbyists: The eighth annual Images of Edina photo contest is upon us! And we here at Edina Magazine couldn’t be more proud to partner with the city of Edina in presenting this year’s contest.
“The annual Images of Edina photo contest captures the essence of our community,” explains city of Edina Communications and marketing director Jennifer Bennerotte. “Each year, dozens of amateur and professional photographers submit beautiful landscapes, portraits and action shots, each capturing what it’s like to live or work in Edina. We see different perspectives of Edina landmarks and public spaces, and more intimate backyards and living rooms. We see smiles emanating the joy of being part of this town. Collectively, the winning photos will give viewers a true ‘snapshot’ of Edina in 2011.”
Along with the opportunity to represent this fair city, winners will receive gift certificates to local businesses, plaques from the City Council and the opportunity to display their photo in City Hall for up to two years.
