However, Rojo Mexican Grill’s general manager Ben Albaugh has a spicy take on a classic strawberry margarita that will allow you to celebrate all the same at home. The strawberry-jalapeño margarita features the “hot but sweet” flavor combination that has been rapidly growing in popularity.
Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita
1 ½ oz. tequila
½ oz. triple sec
4 slices fresh jalapeño
1 oz. strawberry purée
2 oz. margarita mix
Shake the mixture vigorously over ice and pour into your favorite margarita glass.
