Job placement biz comes to Edina.
Edina resident Mary Younggren has been active in the community for a long time. “I am a person of faith, and I believe that we are meant to serve others,” says Younggren, whose social work background has reinforced this belief. With a background in social work and psychology from Concordia College in Moorhead, Younggren later realized that she loves the people side of business. She became the new owner of a Tempforce franchise in 2002. In 2010 she launched a creative division, known as Advent Creative, and in 2015 Younggren decided to start Advent Talent Group. What does Advent Talent Group do? “To put it simply, we place people in jobs,” says Younggren.
