Brad Beard, site executive president of Fairview Southdale Hospital, estimates that up to 10,000 people flock to Rosland Park to view the annual 4th of July fireworks display. “It’s a wonderful night,” Beard says. The show begins at approximately 10 p.m.
For the past 15 years, Fairview Southdale has provided financial support for the event. “It’s a way for us to connect back with the people who provide us support,” Beard explains. “We love to be a part of the community.”
Fairview Southdale’s financial support goes to the Edina Community Foundation, which in turn hires the fireworks vendor. The foundation has developed a relationship with a top-notch vendor who never fails to entertain the crowd. “They put on a really good show,” says Dick Crockett, executive director of the Edina Community Foundation.
