The Sundance Film Festival Short Film Tour is widely considered the premier showcase for short films and the launchpad for many now-prominent independent filmmakers. The Local Music Scene is a rotating cast of some of the best improvisors in the Twin Cities who use the music of local artists as inspiration for improvised scenes. August’s guest is Russ Parrish, an award-winning singer/songwriter and Nashville native. Influenced by artists like Ed Sheeran, The Beatles, and NEEDTOBREATHE, his desire is to write and play songs of hope, bringing everyone together with his music.
