Dan Conway and his friends believe they can change the world.  They are hosting a bake sale to support No Kid Hungry on Sunday, May 22 in front of St Stephens Church in Edina from noon-3pm.  100% of the proceeds will be donated to help end childhood hunger in America.  There will be cookies, cupcakes, bars and a variety of treats.  There will also be a selection of allergy-free options! Breanna's Star is a Night of Art, Celebration and Giving in support of Breanna's Gift, an organization bringing classes & workshops in visual arts, dance, music theater and "Art Takeout" to children at Ronald McDonald House Upper Midwest, Children's Minnesota in both St. Paul and Minneapolis and University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital.The event includes entertainment, a wine and beer tasting, a silent and live auction and more; featuring Trailer Trash Band, a make it yourself art project, appetizers, wine and beer. Edina youth, Quinn Kirsch loved to play outdoor hockey. But when his young life was cut short by Myocarditis, organizers determined it only fitting to celebrate Quinn's love of the game with a joyful outdoor hockey experience that the whole family will love. This pond hockey style tournament is perfect for hockey lovers of all ages. There will also be food for purchase and opportunites to learn about the impacts of Myocarditits.
