50 student-designed exhibits line the tables at Cornelia Elementary School’s cafeteria, representing two months of research by teams and individual scientists ages 4 through 10. Student scientists will be on hand to share their research methodology with parents, teachers, community members and peers. Most displays also include a journal, in which competitors describe the step-by-step process that took them from hypothesis to conclusion. Winners will be announced at the end of the evening; first-place winners at each grade-level will receive passes to The Bell Museum at the University of Minnesota. Cookies and lemonade are provided. Parent volunteers are welcome to assist with setup. Free. 6:30-8pm. Cornelia Elementary School, 7000 Cornelia Drive; jsw0710@gmail.com; edinaschools.org.
