Come and enjoy a special concert as the Edina Concert Band shares the stage with the Medalist Concert Band, one of the premier adult bands in the Twin Cities, celebrating its 50th Anniversary Season!

Jerry Luckhardt and Paul Kile will direct their bands in performing a variety of selections from dynamic masterworks to infectious march tunes, with the combined bands performing, "The Pines of Appian Way" from Ottorino Respighi's famous work, "The Pines of Rome."

As an added feature, Nicholas Ellison, the 5th grade band teacher at Concord, Cornelia and Highlands Elementary Schools, will conduct the Medalist Concert Band in performing "Hymn to the Fallen," composed by John Williams for the film, "Saving Private Ryan.”

The concert takes place on Monday, October 22 from 7-8:30 p.m. in Fick Auditorium at Edina High School, 6754 Valley View Road, Edina.

Tickets are $5 general admission, sold at the door. Edina Band students are free. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
