Photographer Paul Nelson, co-founder of Wild Birds Flying, will be the guest artist at a meet-and-greet at Room & Board in Edina on Wednesday, June 13 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Paul follows migratory patterns of North American birds to capture a unique glimpse of their movements as they take off for flight. He developed a specialized photography rig that allows him to capture split-second images of the birds, resulting in stunning photographs that show patterns and details that the naked eye alone wouldn't be able to see. Paul will be joined by a representative from The Nature Conservancy who will discuss the organization's work in Minnesota and bird habitat efforts throughout the state. They'll also discuss this year being named the "Year of the Bird" in recognition of 2018 being the centennial of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

RSVP: The event is free and open to the public but guests are asked to RSVP at https://www.roomandboard.com/events/PaulNelsonBirds.

Several of Paul's gallery prints will be displayed at the event. To view his prints and other pieces in the Wild Birds Flying collections, visit https://wildbirdsflying.com/
