Interlachen Country Club will host the inaugural Taste Fore the Tour July 1, the "first course" for the 3M Open, organizers say.

The event will feature a four-course meal prepared by four James Beard-recognize chefs, including Gavin Kaysen and Diane Moua, Thomas Boemer and Jamie Malone. Andrew Zimmern will lead the foursome.

The evening's guest of honor will be six-time major champion and CBS golf analyst Sir Nick Faldo, organizers say. Other celebrity guests include Gophers football coach P.J. Fleck, WCCO's Mike Max, former Twin Joe Mauer, Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph and more.

All proceeds from Taste Fore the Tour will be donated to Twin Cities-based basic needs organization Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People (VEAP), which supports low income families in the southern Twin Cities metro.

Those interested in attending can go to the Taste Fore the Tour website. Donors who pledge $78 or more to the Tee Off Against Hunger fundraiser will be entered in a drawing to win two tickets to the event.
