It’s the season of giving and maybe you have a pile of holiday gifts in the closet just waiting to be wrapped. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a place to wrap them without having to haul out your supplies every time? Luckily, creating a gift wrap station is easy and doesn’t require much space, even if it’s just temporary for the holiday season.
Try a simple wrapping station on an empty shelf in a kid’s craft room or in your home office. Any empty cabinet could work well.
Use mini tension rods to display wrapping paper in between the walls of your cabinet. Use the same tension rods to hold rolls of ribbon.
Cute jars and vases can display available embellishments, gift tags and other gift wrap essentials.
Store tissue paper and gift boxes on a lower shelf for easy access.
Keep a dedicated tape dispenser, pens and pair of scissors in the gift wrap area so needed supplies are always at the ready.
If you don’t have an empty shelf or area to create a full gift wrap station, we absolutely love hanging gift wrap organizers that can be hung over a door or inside a closet. They are a space saving and economical way to store and organize wrapping paper so it’s ready to go when the busy-ness of the holidays begin.
