Edina horticulturist Tim Zimmerman and Bachman’s have teamed up to grace Edina’s new bronze eagle veterans’ memorial statue with an intricate garden scheme.
The statue will be surrounded by an array of colorful perennials, shrubs, grasses and, most significantly, heirloom and annual flowers. Instead of the latest trendy plant varieties, Zimmerman says the team wanted to bring back memories of veterans by using heritage plants.
