A Fun Gathering to Help Fund a Cure for Rett Syndrome

Edina Country Club is again host to this year’s Reverse Rett Minneapolis Cocktail Party and Fundraiser, with the Living Room serving as the perfect backdrop for an evening of friendship, live auction fun and cool jazz compliments of The Fast Four. Hors d’oeuvres will be accompanied by a selection of wines donated by event sponsor Mirror Napa Valley winery, and a specialty cocktail sponsored by Tito's Handmade Vodka.

Funds raised will benefit the Rett Syndrome Research Trust, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for Rett Syndrome.  Rett Syndrome is a severe, lifelong neurological disorder that impacts approximately 350,000 people worldwide. Difficult to diagnose due to its varied symptoms, Rett is caused by a random mutation in gene MECP2 and primarily impacts girls. Symptoms can include a loss of motor skills and speech, breathing problems, seizures, anxiety and gastrointestinal issues.
