Employees at Federated Insurance in Edina compete in a weight-loss challenge.
Last fall Marsha Milliken, Marie Sheridan, Nancy Subra and Joann Diamond of Federated Insurance in Edina embarked on the weight-loss challenge called Slim Down to Sin Town, sponsored by Medifast Weight Control Centers and KQRS Radio. The women competed against three other teams to lose the most weight in eight weeks. The winning team received a trip to Las Vegas. Team captain Marsha Milliken says she chose to participate in the challenge to get healthy, plus she welcomed the team environment. Each member of Milliken’s team lost around 14 pounds. “I feel good about myself and how I look,” says Milliken, who is now down 32 pounds and continues to work with Medifast toward her weight-loss goals.
