Images of Edina: Kaleidoscope of Color

There’s more than meets the eye in this 2017 Images of Edina award-winning photograph. It won first place in the plants and animals category as well as being last year’s overall winner. While the photograph showcases beautiful fall colors and breathtaking wildlife, the man behind the camera William “Bill” Webb tells a much larger story of the beauty of life. Summer Fun

David Murphy began to take photography seriously during a safari in Africa 20 years ago. This self-taught amateur, who’s completed online coursework through KelbyOne and who regularly reads photography books and magazines, has had several of his photos published. This photograph titled “Wheeee!” was the winner of the Raising Families category in the 2015 Images of Edina photo contest and has also appeared in our 2016 Best of Edina issue.
