Meet some exemplary students of the Class of 2020. We shine a Senior Spotlight on students at Edina High School who are dedicated, hard-working, have a mind for service and enjoy giving back to the community.

Ryan Schenck was nominated for his strong academics and character. Ryan is on the tennis team and has a vigorous academic course load. He also plays cello in the school’s concert orchestra. Last year, he and his friends made up a chamber orchestra and played in senior homes.

“Going to Edina, it’s benefitted me and given me opportunities,” Ryan, who is part of the school’s College Possible program, says. “Edina has a wide variety of courses and classes and different extracurricular activities that allow me to make my own path. I get to pick and choose what I want. I’m not limited. It’s such a large school, but Edina can be individualistic.”

Ryan plans to study business with a focus on finance. His past experience on Edina High School’s robotics team has inspired him to minor in computer science.
