The Riveter, a built by women, for everyone co-working and community space, is making Edina home to its eighth location and celebrated the grand opening this past June.
As an establishment focused on minority group empowerment, The Riveter has quickly gained national recognition. Founder and CEO, Amy Nelson, started the organization after realizing she was working for a system which favored traditional family roles and inhibited the growth of women in their careers. After recently having her fourth baby girl, Nelson is a shining example of the ability of women to lead and own successful businesses without compromising the ability to have a family and personal life.
