State Arbor Month Celebration and Minnesota Tree Climbing Championships

This year the DNR is celebrating Arbor Day and Arbor Month by encouraging families to play in natural settings such as your backyard, a nearby woodlot, or forested area.

The 2014 State Arbor Month Celebration will be at Oak Hill Park in St. Louis Park. The event will give families a chance to play with nature, while watching some of the best tree climbers in the state compete at the Minnesota Tree Climbing Championship.

Edina Education Fund Golf & Tennis Classic

Let Edina Country Club golf and tennis pros guide you through a variety of drills for the 10th annual Edina Education Fund Golf & Tennis Classic. Or, if golf and tennis aren’t your thing, you can elect to attend the kickoff dinner and auction only. Either way, your contribution will support programs and initiatives in Edina Public Schools. Lemon Run/Walk

National Kids to Parks Day

Encourage your kids to spend more time outdoors by taking them to Rosland Park for a variety of free outdoor activities. FARE Walk for Food Allergy, Minneapolis

The Fare Walk for Food Allergy brings together thousands of people seeking a safer world for the 15 million Americans with food allergies.
