Compete against fellow community members in the center’s state-of-the-art competitive swimming pools and fitness center. Participants will compete in waves of eight. They will swim 1,000 meters or row 2,500 meters, bike 10 miles, and run three miles for a chance to win one of three medals.

Ages 14 and under. Prices vary. All day event.

Get your blood flowing at this Minnesotan-themed run. Run a 5k, or tackle the steep “Oven Mitt Mountain” on the 10-mile route. At the end, warm up with hot dish and a meat raffle. Lumberjack shirt optional.

The 2019 Progressive® Insurance Northwest Sportshow travels back to the Minneapolis Convention Center March 21-24, 2019 welcoming outdoor enthusiasts of all ages to gear up for warmer weather. Come celebrate 60 years of Synchronized swimming in Edina. Alumni reception prior to the show at 6pm in the lobby outside the Art Downey Aquatic Center in Southview Middle School. We're closing West 50th Street between Wooddale Avenue in Edina and Chowen Avenue in Minneapolis for the annual Open Streets on 50th!

The street will be open to bikes and pedestrians to enjoy music, dance, games, crafts, yoga and other creative and active events. Civic, athletic, artistic, creative and neighborhood groups, as well as businesses will participate. Open Streets is dog-friendly, too.
