Lou Nanne's Rebrands as Tavern23

Edina restaurant used customer feedback to create a new menu and atmosphere
Former Centennial Lakes Park steakhouse named after local hockey legend Lou Nanne, changed its name to Tavern23 last fall.
Accompanying the name change is an updated aesthetic and a new menu that includes wok-tossed orange peel chicken and hand-rolled sushi, wood-fired pizzas and cedar plank wild salmon.
According to Michael McDermott, CEO of McDermott Restaurants, the goal of the rebrand, which was based on customer feedback, was to create a well-rounded menu to pair with a more laid-back atmosphere.
The up-and-coming hot spot also features an expanded bar and lounge area, perfect for enjoying happy hour or watching a big game.
