Edina Reads Event

Edina Community Foundation Development Officer Annie Schilling will interview local author Sheila O'Connor about her latest book, "Evidence of V: A Novel in Fragments, Facts, and Fictions." O'Connor researched the story of fifteen-year-old V, incarcerated for six years in the 1930s at a state school for an unplanned pregnancy. This practice of incarcerating teenage girls on charges of immorality was practiced all over the United States in the first half of the twentieth century. Read more about Edina Reads Event

Edina Education Fund's Annual CAKE Off

Join the Edina community to kick-start the new school year and raise some much needed funds for our students' education.  Spend a morning viewing and bidding on impressive, locally crafted cakes and raise funds to support our Edina Public Schools.  We will highlight the Edina Education Fund's important work while you enjoy a light breakfast, time with fellow community members and, of course, cake!  The event is held at St. Patrick's Church in Edina.  Cake-Off Coffee (7:30 AM-8:30 AM), Cake-Off Brunch with live auction (10:00 AM-12:00 PM). Open Streets on 50th

Join Edina locals at the fifth annual Open Streets for a day of fun on 50th Street between Wooddale Avenue and Chowen Avenue. There will be plenty of opportunities to get to know the community, from listening to live music, bringing your furry friend to the Pet Zone or hanging out at the Red Cow beer garden.
