Minneapolis Bike Tour

Come participate in the 13th annual Minneapolis Bike Tour. Starting and ending on Boom Island in Northeast Mpls., choose from numerous beautiful park and trail routes for you and your family to enjoy. All courses will be closed to motorized traffic and include stops providing refreshments and bike mechanics. Proceeds go towards bike safety, education and trail maintenance. Tiger Tracks 5K and Family Run/ Walk

Earn your stripes and join the Minnesota Zoo for their annual Tiger Tracks 5K to raise money for wildlife conservation. The race starts at the Shady Oaks Picnic area and follows a course through the zoo on outdoor trails. Minneapolis Monarch Festival

Celebrate the annual great migration of the monarchs from Minnesota to Mexico at Lake Nokomis this fall. Break out your best orange and black to walk in the costume parade or learn more about these incredible butterflies by tagging and releasing your own. Minneapolis Greek Festival

Experience a Taste of Greece at the Minneapolis Greek Festival at St. Mary’s Greek Orthodox Church. Try authentic Greek food, from gyros to baklava, while participating in the various cultural experiences available. Black Women Taking Charge: Achieving Meaningful Progress on Pay Equity

Equal Pay Day is the symbolic day that marks the point in the year at which women's earnings will finally “catch up” to what men earned in the previous year alone. This year, April 2nd signified how far women collectively needed to work into 2019 to catch up to what men were paid in 2018. Because black women face an even larger wage gap, they need to work until August 22, 2019, to match what men earned the previous year, representing a 39% pay gap. Community Coworking & Open House at The Riveter Minneapolis

The Riveter is now open, and we want to share our space with you! The Riveter is a national membership network of community, content, resources and coworking spaces. Woodbury Days

Woodbury Days, the city's biggest and most beloved summer festival, returns to Ojibway Park at the end of the month for its 41st year. Organizers report that, last year, almost 300 businesses participated in the event and more than 30,000 people attended. Check online for a detailed schedule of events, but don’t miss some perennial favorites: the business fair, the bingo tent, the petting zoo, the Taste of Woodbury, the beer tent…you get the idea. Irish Fair in St. Paul

Preserve, cultivate and celebrate the rich Irish heritage along the Mississippi River by delving into authentic dishes, listening to live music and watching Irish dancers perform.
