“USA! USA! USA!” was a household chant this past summer as we cheered our athletes to 104 medals at the London Olympics. The Paralympic Games, which took place August 29 to September 9 and showcased athletes with physical disabilities, didn’t command the same TV coverage, however.

Stand near the intersection of Valley View Road and Highway 100 today and you’ll see little trace of the Code family, who lived at the northeast corner of the crossroads for almost a century. But the pioneering family left an indelible mark on Edina’s church, school and community life.

This fall, Corset Styling is moving from its original Hopkins location into the old Alix in Candyland space on France Avenue. Along with the move comes an addition to the Corset Styling team--a partnership with Grant Whittaker Style.
