Aveda in Southdale Center received a makeover. With a focus on guest experience, Aveda executive director of retail, Evelyn Hill, says, “We incorporate the educational and professional in the world of beauty.”
The Southdale store has 10 individual experience stations, each giving guests the opportunity to learn and participate. At center stage is the hair bar where a guest can sit down with a stylist who will style half their head. The guest can then style the other half of their head with help from the stylist. Hill says this allows the customer to go home knowing how to do their own hair.
Another change is the open front instead of the glass windows. “It’s naturally allowing people to comfortably come in,” Hill says. Learn more at the Aveda website.
