Edina TV offers those local connections. “We try to package that information in an entertaining way,” Denfeld says. And the team is largely successful, with three programs nominated for Regional Emmys in 2017 including Beyond the Badge, Public Art Profiles and On the Job—all shows exclusive to the Edina community. This time, Public Art Profiles—a series of short sessions highlighting public art in the community and the people who make it—walked away a winner. This further illustrates the importance of this community coverage.
