The sixth annual Edina Day of Service will be held October 25.

Vision Loss Resources hosts a mall walking group twice each month at Southdale Center. Sighted volunteers walk alongside VLR clients as guides to encourage fitness and camaraderie.

If you’re between the ages of 20 and 99 and often find yourself asking, “What’s next?” the community of Edina will be hosting a series of Life Reimagined programming to help participants look at their career, relationships, wellness and finances and begin a new phase.

Competition was stiff this year for the annual Images of Edina Photo Contest, but after the dust settled, the judges picked the winning images in five categories representing the City of Edina’s vision statement: Living (People & Plants/Wildlife), Learning, Raising Families and Doing Business

A vibrant, well-organized and active library doesn’t just appear out of thin air. Indeed, it’s no magic trick—for a library to thrive, it requires the careful and passionate care of dedicated volunteer support.

In December, Edina physician Jim Rohde made his 12th pilgrimage to Haiti as a volunteer. And this trip was special. Rohde dedicated the final piece of a seven-years-long medical building project, which he coordinated in partnership with Healing Hands for Haiti, an international nonprofit.
