Historic Fort Snelling to Perform at Covenant Village of Golden Valley

Celebrate Veterans Day at Covenant Village of Golden Valley on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at 1 p.m., with music from Historic Fort Snelling. This costumed fife and drummer corps will enlighten and entertain with stirring marches and tunes that were heard at the fort while it was an active military post from 1819-1946. Edina Chorale Concert: "Peace on Earth"

The Edina Chorale kicks off the holiday
season with two concerts, “Peace on Earth:  Peace, Pax, Shalom.”

Alive and Kickin’ Performs at Covenant Village of Golden Valley

Alive and Kickin’, a talented ensemble of rockin’ senior performers, will delight audiences with personal stories and music, from rock and roll and pop to gospel and Motown. Minneapolis Aquatennial Senior Choir to perform at Covenant Village of Golden Valley

The Minneapolis Aquatennial Senior Choir will perform at Covenant Village of Golden Valley on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 2 p.m. Covenant Village is a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities.

The Minneapolis Aquatennial is the official civic celebration of the City of Minneapolis. Celebrating 76 Years, Minnesota residents, workers, and visitors have come to love and appreciate all that Minneapolis has to offer during the Aquatennial. Van Gogh’s Sunflowers

Minnesota is primed for an infusion of bold color. Young painters can give spring a boost at this three-hour workshop, where they will draw inspiration from one of Van Gogh’s most vibrant and well-loved works, Tournesols. Children will learn about Van Gogh’s turbulent life and wide-reaching legacy and explore impasto and other oil painting techniques before creating their own post-impressionist masterpiece. The Illusionists

When it comes to magic, there’s a huge variety of artists and acts—grand illusionists, card tricksters, acrobats and more. It’s not often, however, that one show covers the whole gamut. But this month, seven world-renowned illusionists come together to create a spectacular and diverse showcase of unbelievable feats.
