EHS Pop Concert

Enjoy great family entertainment at the 66th annual Edina High School POPS Concert. The theme for this year’s performances is “The World of POPS.” Audiences will be taken on a traveling musical adventure. Talented EHS student musicians will showcase their talents and creativity with instrumentals, singing, dancing, comedy performances and more. In a time honored tradition, the band will close with “On the Mall” by Edwin Franko Goldman which will leave attendees whistling and singing long after the show. MacPhail Spotlight Series: Liszt’s Spiritual Journey

Nineteenth-century superstar pianist Franz Liszt was fascinated with Catholicism throughout his life. He became increasingly drawn to a spiritual life, and eventually took minor holy orders in the Catholic church. Join virtuoso pianist Richard Tostenson as he performs some of Liszt’s most impressive secular and spiritual works in the stunning atmosphere of the Basilica of Saint Mary.

Edina High School Ensembles Present the 6th Annual “Winter Jubilee”

Edina High School’s premiere performing ensembles present the 6th annual “Winter Jubilee.”  Themed “A Joyful Celebration of the Season,” this festive program features seasonal favorites from individual and combined ensembles and showcases the many talents of the EHS Performing Arts Department.  Performances by the Concert Choir, Concert Band, Concert Orchestra, and Edina Thespians are sure to fill the heart and warm the soul. A Double Header! Edina Concert Band and Medalist Concert Band to Perform a Joint Concert

Come and enjoy a special concert as the Edina Concert Band shares the stage with the Medalist Concert Band, one of the premier adult bands in the Twin Cities, celebrating its 50th Anniversary Season!

Jerry Luckhardt and Paul Kile will direct their bands in performing a variety of selections from dynamic masterworks to infectious march tunes, with the combined bands performing, "The Pines of Appian Way" from Ottorino Respighi's famous work, "The Pines of Rome." Edina High School Varsity Band presents its 6th Annual “Carnival Concert”

Come One, Come All!

All are invited to the 6th annual “Carnival Concert” on Sat., October 27, from 6-7:30 p.m. in Fick Auditorium at Edina High School, 6754 Valley View Road, Edina.

The fun starts at 6 p.m. in the lobby of Fick Auditorium with carnival games, face-painting, instrument "petting zoo" and more.

Edina Hornet Marching Band to honor the American Legion Centennial in Minneapolis

The Edina Hornet Marching Band is one of 23 bands nationwide selected to march in the American Legion 100th National Convention parade in downtown Minneapolis on Sunday, August 26, 2018.  The parade begins at 4 p.m. at the intersection of Nicollet Avenue and 5th Street South, then travels down Nicollet Mall to 13th Street South.  Bud Grant is the Grand Marshall, and participating in the parade will be Legion representatives from each state.  The American Legion returns to Minneapolis, the city that hosted its first National Convention, to kick off its centennial celebration.
